1 Corinthians 15 Creed

In this episode of the Faith Chapel podcast, Pastor Jason examines the earliest known Christian creed recorded in 1 Corinthians 15, arguing it predates Paul's conversion and dates very close to Jesus’ death and resurrection. If this can be shown to be an early creed, it would dispute claims that the resurrection of Jesus was a later development in the history of the church. Jason explains why scholars consider the formulaic language, Aramaic traces, and eyewitness claims (including appearances to Peter, James, and more than 500 people) as strong historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus.
