Acts to Philemon

Jason Parsons

In this episode of the Faith Chapel podcast, we cover the New Testament section from Acts through the letters of Paul, showing how the early church lived out Jesus' resurrection and mission.

We look at Pentecost and the Holy Spirit empowering bold witness, the spread of the gospel amid miracles and persecution, Paul’s conversion and missionary journeys, and the inclusion of Gentiles into God’s promise.

Then we summarize Paul’s letters: the gospel of justification by faith, life by the Spirit, practical Christian living, church unity, pastoral guidance, and the call to forgiveness and reconciliation (as in Philemon). This episode explains how Scripture equips believers to follow Jesus in a broken world.
